Statutes of limitations have likely run out on possible perjury charges and the form of witness intimidation practiced by Sebesta is basically legal, if scurrilous and disreputable.It's difficult to understand the motive for using such tactics to frame an innocent man, but it's easy to see why Sebesta could get away with it.
